Panayiotis Moungos is a Black Belt (6 Dan) and a World Champion martial arts expert
Many styles of martial arts are practiced for self-defense or include self-defense techniques. Some styles train primarily for self-defense, while other martial or combat sports can be effectively applied for self-defense.
Some martial arts train how to escape from a gun situation, or how to break away from a punch, while others train how to attack.
To provide more practical self-defense, many modern day martial arts schools now use a combination of martial arts styles and techniques, and will often customize self-defense training to suit the participants' lifestyles, occupations, age groups and gender, and physical and mental capabilities.

Mykonos Gym provides all levels of instruction in:

  • Taekwondo,
  • Muai Thai,
  • Capoeira,
  • Self-Defense
  • Kick-Boxing.

The new trend in fitness promises miracles - and accomplishes them!
Metabolism gets fire, the mood rises, the muscles "come alive" and the body is transformed!
The new favorite program of those who want to strengthen their whole body, increase their stamina and lose weight
The Cross-training incorporates a wide variety of exercises derived from the sport and everyday life.
Cross-training, often seen as a circular workout, refers to a combination of exercises from other programs, different from your classic workout. And by involving different muscle groups, you can correct imbalances and boost overall.

Cross training benefits:

  1. Gives strength.
  2. Improves endurance.
  3. Increases flexibility.
  4. Defeats the monotony thanks to the constant alternating exercises.
  5. ones the whole muscular system.

Bodybuilding is the use of progressive resistance exercise to control and develop one's musculature.
In competitive amateur and professional bodybuilding, bodybuilders appear in lineups doing specified poses, and later perform individual posing routines, for a panel of judges who rank competitors based on criteria such as symmetry, muscularity and conditioning.
Bodybuilders prepare for competition through a combination of dehydration, fat loss, oils, and tanning (or tanning lotions) which make their muscular definition more distinct.
In the modern bodybuilding industry, "professional" generally means a bodybuilder who has won qualifying competitions as an amateur and has earned a "pro card" from their respective organization.
